What is Gyrotonic? The Gyrotonic Expansion System® is an exercise modality that guides users to simultaneously stretch and strengthen muscles and tendons wihile also articulating and mobilizing the joints. Corresponding breathing patterns are engaged during the performance of the exercises, thereby increasing coordination, endurance and aerobic activity.

Renee Ricca,owner of the Renee' Ricca's Pilates Center and Oriana Franco Azizollahoff, Director of Philanthropy for the Renee' Ricca's Pilates Center had a dream to bring dance and theatre education for the under privileged Ethiopian Children in Padres Hanna Israel, and to support S.L.E (Systemic Lupus Research.) In honor and memory of Renee' Ricca's late sister, Sifra Nathan. In the last 2 years they have formed the Sifra Nathan-Azizollahoff Philanthropic Fund, donating their time to teaching students at the Renee' Ricca's Pilates Center. Raising funds towards further dance education, as well as to build a state of the art dance studio in Padres Hanna Israel. The grand opening of the new facility took place in July 2011.This is a program that manages to intertwine its upholding of well being, dance education, kindness, community service and S.L.E. research.
